When Google announced that the Streetview trike was coming to Australia, they also had a little competition to see where it would photograph first. The winner was Lord Howe Island.
More than 3000 locations were nominated in the comp, with Lord Howe Island winning the honours. Google will be taking photos of Lord Howe, plus the winners from the other states soon, with the images to go live later this year.
