Bing’s mobile web app just got an update for mobile devices that support HTML5 standards, which means iOS and Android.
Aside from getting a glossy new UI, location-based search results, and the ability to find apps for the iPhone, Bing Mobile now spits out real-time data too: You can get current transit directions if you’re in Boston, San Francisco, Chicago or LA.
In this way, they’ve outdone Google Maps on the iPhone – Google Maps also shows you transit routes, but it doesn’t give you the same real-time information. Now all that’s missing is support for the update on Windows Phone 7. [Bing]
