In celebration of designer Ray Eames, who would have turned 100 this year, Herman Miller has announced a limited edition Eames Wire Base Low Table (Eames LTR), which will be made available on Herman Miller’s website in mid-October.
The table will be offered in Ray’s three favourite colours: cobalt blue, red-orange and yellow gold — the same colours she used on the exterior panels of Case Study House #8, co-designed with her husband Charles.
The design is a classic, perfect for use as a bedside table or a coffee table. Really, you can throw one of these just about anywhere, and it will look great and make your clutter look somehow slightly chic. [DesignMilk]
