You’d think the evolution of the humble pizza would have reached a stand-still by now, but no, fast food outlets continue to mutate the formula for nefarious and usually unhealthy purposes. Take this monstrosity, a recent debut at Pizza Huts around the UK — a stuffed crust featuring cheeseburgers. Yes, cheeseburgers.
If you were imagining some sort of mince mixture squeezed into the outer ring of dough of the pizza, you’re in for a treat. As Foodbeast’s Charisma Madarang explains, the stuffed crust variant features small beef patties, topped with cheese and placed into the crust. So, unlike your regular cheese crust, the patties are exposed and visible, allowing your stomach to contemplate just how in the heck it’s going to survive the onslaught of meat and diary.
Apparently it’s a limited time deal, which depending on how many people it slays, could be shortened to an even limited time. I kid, it’ll probably be really popular, though if you want to get in on the action, you’ll have to book flights to England. Not the most cost-effective meal, then.
