Yesterday, I finally saw this incredible model of Manhattan at New York’s Armory Show. Hand-carved on a gigantic 2.7m long block of marble, this thing is overwhelming when you’re in front of it. The detail is truly unbelievable.

The piece is not new. It’s part of a series of five called Little Manhattan created by Yutaka Sone from 2007 to 2009. This is the number 3 on the series and measures an incredible 55.2cm × 275.3cm × 85.1cm. I wish I had a home large enough to have it.
