Last week, a Samsung executive was reported as saying that his company’s 10-inch Galaxy Tab was “inadequate” in the face of iPad 2. Not surprisingly, Samsung has walked that statement back, saying that the tablet will be released on schedule. What to think!
Well, this, probably: that while the Galaxy Tab’s got guts that arguably put iPad 2 to shame, it feels plasticky and cheap, and its Honeycomb operating system still isn’t fully baked. But even worse than shipping a product with a few non-lethal deficiencies is ceding an even bigger head start to the competition. [Yonhap via BGR]
