Over at Lifehacker, Gus has just written up the proposal that iiNet, Internode, Primus, Optus and Telstra have proposed as a way to deal with online piracy. It’s essentially a four notifications, education-based plan that’ll see the telcos maintain connectivity and hand prosecution over to rights holders as long as they have “effective, accurate piracy detection technology.” [Lifehacker]
