Want to buy an iPhone 7? Yeah, us too. Here’s how much it’ll cost you in Australia, and when you can buy one of your very own.
Australian Pre-Order And Release Date
The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus both go up for pre-order on the company’s Aussie website tomorrow — Friday September 9. You’ll be able to place that order through Apple’s online store.
The phone itself goes on sale in Australia on Friday September 16. That’s only one week after pre-orders rather than the usual two, which is an interesting departure from form for Apple.
While you’ll be able to order the phone through Australia’s major telcos as well as from Apple itself, we don’t have on-plan pricing just yet. But the phone, like in previous years, will launch through Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile on the same day as you’ll be able to buy it from the Apple Store.

This Is Virgin Mobile’s iPhone 7 And iPhone 7 Plus Plan Pricing

The cheapest iPhone 7 that you’ll be able to buy outright will be $1079, and the cheapest iPhone 7 Plus will be $1269. Those are the prices for the entry-level 32GB version of the phone, but there will also be 128GB and 256GB variants of both available.
The 128GB iPhone 7 will set you back $1229, while the 128GB iPhone 7 Plus is $1419. The 256GB iPhone 7 is $1379, and the most expensive phone you’ll be able to buy, the 256GB iPhone 7 Plus, is $1569. Those are outright prices, obviously — the phone will seem a hell of a lot cheaper if you buy it with a monthly repayment option on a plan from a telco.
