The brave Fukushima 50 are still soldiering on at the damaged nuclear plant, but two have been hospitalised after working on the No. 3 reactor today.
The two workers sustained injuries to their legs and were exposed to radiation between 170-180 millisieverts, with the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency describing how the workers had their feet under the water while laying down cables. One more worker was also exposed to the high-level radiation, but deemed healthy enough to avoid a trip to the hospital. [Kyodo News]
