HTC Wants To Give You More Free Google Drive Storage On Its Phones

If you own an HTC bought in the last year or so, you’re about to reap the benefit of more Google Drive storage, completely free.

Google and HTC have just announced (via a pretty subtle support page) that owners of certain HTC handsets made in the last 12 months will be eligible for more free Google Drive storage. That’ll be on top of the 50GB free device owners got when they powered up their devices for the first time.

Here’s who will get the extra space.

HTC One M8 (+100GB for two years)
HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 610 (+100GB for two years)
HTC One Max (+100GB for two years)

Other devices purchased in the last 12 months and upgraded to the new version of HTC Sense will also be eligible, albeit for a smaller allocation of free space:

• HTC One
• HTC Butterfly S
• HTC One Mini
• HTC Desire 601

Head over to the Drive app on your eligible HTC phone to check your availability.
