Oppo’s made little secret of the fact that it’s preparing to launch the Oppo Find X2 very soon indeed, with most tipping that it’ll make its debut later in the month at Mobile World Congress Barcelona. The Find X2 will be Oppo’s new flagship phone ” or at least that’s what everyone assumed.
As Ausdroid reports, certification filings in Thailand on that country’s Office of The National Broadcasting And Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) site have revealed the existence of the presumably more premium Oppo Find X2 Pro as well.
Clearly, “Pro” suffixes are going to be 2020’s new actually-premium signifier for a range of brands, but beyond its existence in Thailand, we really don’t know that much more about the differences between the Oppo Find X2 and the Oppo Find X2 Pro.
Oppo hasn’t been entirely silent around its plans for the Oppo Find X2 however, with Oppo VP Brian Chen being his usual chirpy self:
I’ve recently got hands on with the #OPPOFindX2 and the screen is second to none. Confirmed – this will be a game changer!

Generally reliable leaker @iceuniverse has also spoken up about expected features in the Oppo Find X2:
OPPO Find X2 will use WQHD + 120Hz screen and 65W SuperVOOC charge. It is said that it only takes 35 minutes to fully charge.

It’s pretty safe to assume that those features, if accurate would have to be in the Pro version of the Oppo Find X2, although it’s always possible that they’re exclusive to it, and that the Oppo Find X2 is the more constrained version. If the rumours around MWC launching are true, we won’t have long to wait to find out.
