The ironing board. One of those pieces of functional technology that hasn’t really evolved much since, well, ever. No longer! At least, not if the bright minds behind the Ironing Station get their way.
The Ironing Station, seen above as a prototype and below as the awesome reality, is an adjustable, rotatable, clampable bit of long-overdue chore-easing. It parts like the sea to give you easy, stable access to your shirt’s sleeves, and folds up just as tidily as you’re used to from your 1920s model.
It’s a bit more expensive than you might be used to – $US75 pre-sale over at Quirky – but given that for once you’ll have an ironing board you’ll actually use, totally worth it. [Quirky Blog]
