The 2016 Rio Olympics may be over, but luckily we still have Spider-Man: Homecoming. Damn that boy can flip.
Tom Holland shared a couple of clips on Instagram Saturday, showing progress on the upcoming Spider-Man solo flick. One showcased Peter Parker looking solemn in front of a green screen, but the other further displayed what he’s physically capable of as Spidey with some brand-new stunt choreography.
Seriously, look at the air on that thing! That’s some pretty cool stunt work. I especially love how he lands in true Spider-Man fashion, then does an extra twirl for good measure. That kid’s got skills.
Holland, a trained dancer who first hit it big starring in the Billy Elliot Broadway musical, is no stranger to action stunts. He even shared some of his stunt work on Instagram for his debut in Captain America: Civil War. But it’s exciting to see that physicality continue in his solo flick. After all, he is a leading man now.
But what else can you expect from a guy who nails his dance choreography like a pro, including with Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Zendaya? Dance magic dance.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently filming, and comes out July 7, 2017.
