The FIFA world cup kicks off in just over a month, and the TV manufacturers want you to upgrade your TV. Samsung is the first off the bat with special bonus deals to help sway you to their TVs, by offering a bonus 3D pack when you grab one of their new 3D displays, or a bonus home theatre system with other 2D TVs.
The offer, which began on May 1 and will run until June 30, allows anyone who purchases a selected Samsung 3DTV to redeem a bonus 3D Blu-ray player plus two pairs of 3D glasses, valued at $849. On top of that, 3D TV buyers can also claim Samsung’s 3D starter kit, which includes Monsters Vs Aliens plus another two sets of 3D glasses.
If you prefer to steer clear of 3D, Samsung are also offering a Blu-ray home theatre in a box system worth $799 to customers who buy selected 2D models of TV.
There will certainly be a bit more competition in these added bundles over the coming weeks as the TV manufacturers all try and persuade you to upgrade your TVs for the World Cup. The question is, which deal will entice you?
