Hate The Ads In Android Angry Birds? Switch Off Mobile Data

Angry Birds on Android is free, but you have to put up with those annoying ads in the bottom corner. Wouldn’t you rather just pay a couple of dollars to get rid of it? Until Rovio release a paid version of the game for Android though, you’re left to your own devices in order to play the game ad-free. Turns out, it’s easier than you might think.

Tipster Jamie tells us that you can kill off the ads by simply switching off mobile data. Either switch your phone into flight mode or switch off mobile data and the game will play back ad-free.

Maybe if fewer people are watching the ads, the Rovio guys might be persuaded to release a paid version of the app…
