The Black Diamond, available soon for roughly $US80, starts as an Epcot-esque black sphere that charges over USB. Pair it with the accompanying apps and it turns into a glowing geodesic mood lamp which, yes, I do believe your room could use.
The company’s apparently thinking forward to applications that would put the glowing dome to use – different colours for signifying changes in weather or IDing different callers. I, however, am content to appreciate colourful orbs for colourful orbs’ sake. [YanTouch via SlashGear]
