Pico projectors always held so much promise, but they’ve never really stepped up to the level of awesome we’ve been hoping for. The Acer C20 hopes to climb that mountain of expectation.
The $349 C20 from Acer weighs in at 166 grams, offers a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and a brightness of 20 ANSI lumens. The battery is good for about 2 hours, displaying WVGA (800 x 480) resolution in 16:9 widescreen. There’s also an optional 15-inch screen for projecting onto for $49 if you’re thinking of taking the projector on the go. The C20 has USB, HDMI and MicroSD card slots for connecting your your entertainment device of choice.
Based on specs alone, the C20 is a pretty standard pico projector. Anyone keen?
