NBN Co’s announced that it’s signed up Leighton Holdings subsidiary Visionstream to a $300 million contract that’ll see the NBN completed on the Apple Isle by 2015.
ITNews reports on the deal, which forms part of a package of contracts that Visionstream’s won in recent months worth more than $750 million in total. These include the current contract for optical fibre rollouts, the transit network and wireless telecommunications, a deal it holds under a subcontract from Ericsson. [ITNews]
