You can find silicone ice cube moulds for everything from perfect spheres to gummy bears these days. But if you’re throwing a dinner party and really want to impress your guests, nothing says “I have too much money and free time” like using a 3D milling machine to sculpt a frozen drink-chilling masterpiece like this.
Created for a Japanese whisky called Suntory, this frozen pagoda started life as a solid chunk of ice before being slowly nibbled away to create this stylish way to cool a drink. The hardest part isn’t the milling process though, it’s having to watch it slowly melt away when you put it in a glass of booze. [3D Rocks via Notcot]
