Samsung Galaxy Note 4 And Note Edge Delayed In Australia

Are you waiting for a shiny new Samsung Galaxy Note 4? (We are, definitely, with bated breath.) Unfortunately, Samsung Australia has a bit of bad news for you — the new phone, along with its curvy Note Edge variant, is delayed by a week Down Under, so you’ll have to wait slightly longer.

The Note 4 was supposed to be released by Samsung and it’s partnered telcos on towards the end of this month, but now you’ll have to wait until November 5. The new, curved-edge Note Edge has had to be pushed back by a week until November 12. Bummer. Here’s the statement from Samsung Australia:

Samsung Electronics Australia has revised the on sale date for the Galaxy Note 4 to Wednesday 5th November and the Galaxy Note Edge to Wednesday 12th November. Pre-orders will be available from Wednesday 15th October. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers.

It’s not too much of an extra wait, but if you were hanging out for an upgrade, you’ll have to wait just a few more days. Trust us, we think it’s worth the wait — the Note 4 is a great piece of hardware, and the Note Edge is interesting.

When we get our new Note 4 for review, we’ll get straight to it — so stay tuned!
