Australia has woken up to a new Prime Minister, but that’s not all that happened overnight…
Yes, that’s right: overnight your Communications Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, resigned and challenged the Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, for the top job. Turnbull became Prime Minister Designate following a vote of the Liberal party room at around 10pm last night. He’ll likely be sworn in today.
