Elon Musk must be pretty happy with his employees. In an interview with the German newspaper Handelsblatt, he pointed out that Apple is staffed by people that aren’t good enough to remain at Tesla.
Business Insider reports that Tesla engineers simply head to Apple when they’re fired:
“They have hired people we’ve fired. We always jokingly call Apple the ‘Tesla Graveyard.’ If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding,”
Zing! Referring to Apple’s reported work in the auto sector, he also quipped that “cars are very complex compared to phones or smartwatches.” Which, I suppose, depends on the car and the phone.
