Krysten Ritter teases the endless possibilities of Jessica Jones season 2. American Gods recasts a major character. The Godzilla vs Kong movie has a release date. Kevin Smith wants to write for Arrow. Plus, new pictures from Game of Thrones, and the season finale of Gotham. Behold, spoilers!
Booster Gold
During an interview for Kevin Smith and Mark Bernardin’s Fatman on Batman podcast, scriptwriter Zack Stentz revealed that he is working on a movie for Warner Bros. with Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter — the producers behind DC’s Television output on the CW and CBS.
Although Stentz didn’t clarify what the movie actually was on the podcast, Birth Movies Death followed up with a report saying that this is in fact the often-rumoured Booster Gold movie, and Berlanti will not just produce the film, but also even direct it.
An extensive profile of Berlanti has since been released over at the Hollywood Reporter, in which Berlanti officially confirmed the rumour: Stentz will write Booster Gold, and Berlanti will produce and “probably” direct:
I’m attached to a few films [at Warner Bros.] now, and one, Booster Gold, is a DC property. Zack Stentz, who wrote an episode of Flash last year, just got the job, so he’s writing the script now. I’d probably direct that, or I would want to. But I don’t see my cup as limited. I actually think some of the stuff we get to do on the TV side is richer, deeper and more like the true comic books in the sense that you’re always able to explore a new thing the next week and the stories grow wider and wider.

The Defenders/Jessica Jones
Speaking to Digital Spy, Krysten Ritter says that the Netflix crossover show and the second season of Jessica Jones will shoot back to back:
They will be back-to-back. I don’t know if they will overlap a little bit. It’s about to be a serious undertaking. I’m starting my physical training – lots of weight training and boxing.
Meanwhile, she also teased the possibilities the second season could bring — including appearances from other Marvel characters:
I’m excited to see what happens next for Jessica, and the end of season one left a lot of doors open and questions unanswered. Kilgrave was her reason for getting up every morning. Saving people gave her purpose. I wonder how emotionally taxed she’s going to be now. That opens a lot of doors as to who will come out and play. We all live in the same universe, so there are endless possibilities.

Arrow
After turning his hand to directing The Flash, Kevin Smith says he wants to write an episode for Arrow:
I would, though, like to write on Arrow. I would love to jump in for a one or two episode arc just to bring that Onomatopoeia character to life. That would be so badass — I created this character in the comics and then to do a live-action version of it that fit into their universe, fit into the run of their show? That would be exciting to me. That’s the one I can get my head around writing, but Flash, whenever they bring me back, I think I prefer somebody else doing it. I heard rumour that when I go back, I think Zack [Stentz] might be writing my script again, which would be amazing — we’d be keeping the home team together, so that would be cool.
