We might know when to expect the return of Twin Peaks. Rob Liefield is crafting his own comic book cinematic universe. Duncan Jones talks what might have been for Warcraft 2. Plus, new looks at the cast of Time After Time and Riverdale, and a new clip from Agents of SHIELD. Behold, spoilers!
Blade Runner 2049
Time to ready up your salt shakers, because, of all places, Terminator fan site Terminator Fans claims that one of the original four replicants from Blade Runner will return in the movie via the magic of CG, á la the recent cameos in Rogue One. Although the returning replicant is unidentified, the site says that their role in the film will be moderately substantial rather than just a one-and-done cameo, featuring in “at least 10 shots or more”.
Meanwhile, Birth Movies Death claims sources close to production have confirmed that Deckard is hiding out in “what remains” of Los Angeles in the movie, before Ryan Gosling’s K finds him.
Extreme Cinematic Universe
Rob Liefeld, Graham King and Akiva Goldsmith are developing a series of interconnected movies based on Liefield’s work in the ’90s-as-hell Extreme comics universe. In a press release, Liefeld stated:
Over the past nearly 25 years, since launching Image Comics, I’ve been lucky enough to see the power of these stories and characters as they have resonated with several generations of comic book fans. To now be able to work with Akiva Goldsman and Graham King, who are powerhouses in their own right, to bring these compelling characters and conflicts to life on the big screen is nothing short of a dream come true!

Twin Peaks
Showtime’s 2017 promo calendar seems to drop the hint that the show will return either April 30 or sometime in May, according to fan site Welcome to Twin Peaks.
However, the show will definitely not be airing at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, apparently. Following a report from Deadline stating that the series was looking to make an early premiere at the show, co-creator and writer Mark Frost took to twitter to quash the rumour:
Just to quash a silly rumor going around: Twin Peaks is NOT, repeat, NOT going to be shown at Sundance this year.
