If you have a couple of shrubs in your front garden, taking a pair of pruning shears to them every few weeks isn’t much of a burden. But when you’re growing shrubs by the thousands, the manual Bonsai approach just isn’t going to cut it. Pushing this around a massive field of shrubs all day seems like it might be an equally tedious task, but the satisfaction of watching it tame tiny shrubs, again and again, might just be worth it.
