Odds are Huawei’s follow-up to its P10 series, inventively called P20, should make an appearance in late March going by rumours. We had codenames leaked at the end of January and it looks like we have renders now too. If they’re to be believed, at least one model of the P20 will feature not one, not two, but three rear shooters.
The renders, which show the phone and a couple of case designs, popped up on Slashleaks a few days ago. While nothing can be gleaned from the screens in the images, which feature little more than wallpapers, the hardware clearly shows a triple-camera setup on the back of the device.
At first, it looks like there’s a headphone jack on the top of the phone, but upon closer inspection, it’s not quite big enough for a 3.5mm plug. GSMArena reckons it could be for a noise-cancelling microphone, or possibly, someone simply stuffed up the renders. We won’t know for sure until the P20 series is officially revealed on March 27.
As always, take all this armed with a salt granule. Still, if you were considering an upgrade to Huawei’s next phone and want to stick with wired earphones, it might be wise to have a backup lined up.
