Sweet Tooth
James Wan and New Line have purchased the rights for a feature adaptation of Nico van den Brink’s short film about a woman who hears her murdered neighbours moving around upstairs. Van den Brink is slated to direct. [THR]
Justice League
Ezra Miller revealed to EW that at least one piece of silver age Flash lore won’t make it over to the movie: Barry’s suit isn’t stored in a ring for easy costume changes:
Well, you know, look — I can confirm, spoiler alert, his suit does not pop out of his ring [in the movie]. Things have to progress, you know? Original Barry Allen was clearly an incredibly, incredibly clever scientist. We acknowledge and respect that. We want to apologise to the fans who are mad about the ring thing.
Speaking of the Flash, new image of Barry Allen in his computer-laden office has hit the web. Yes, Rick and Morty is still playing in the background. [Screen Rant]
Blade Runner: 2049
IMAX has released a new promo that’s almost entirely text, lauding the film’s IMAX enhancements.
Who Fears Death
HBO is moving forward with their adaptation of Nnedi Okorafor’s Who Fears Death, produced by George R.R. Martin. Selwyn Seyfu Hinds will write the adaptation, while Okorafor will serve as a consultant on the series.[Deadline]
Game of Thrones
The series is currently looking to cast two children in small roles — a girl between the ages of eight and 10 to play a “Northern girl remarkable for her dauntlessness and integrity”, and a boy with a “distinctive face” who “completely owns the scenes he appears in”. [Watchers On the Wall]

Supergirl
Melissa Benoist revealed to Entertainment Weekly she’ll be getting a new suit this season:
There is a different suit that I will be wearing at some point this season, but I won’t tell you when or to what capacity. It’s cool, though.
The Punisher
In the same EW article, Jon Berthal stated The Punisher will refrain from supernatural elements, including The Hand, dragons, and superheroes in general.
We are stripping down every supernatural element. This show is different. It looks different. Frank is a character rooted in the most basic human emotions … He’s a comic-book character, but he doesn’t fly, he doesn’t have X-ray vision. He’s an unbelievably skilled soldier who’s been very, very angry and very, very hurt. In other words: The Punisher’s story will feature zero ninjas, zero members of the Hand, and definitely zero dragons.
Arrow
Here’s the latest TV spot for season six.
In related news, Manu Bennett shared a set photo of a bloodied up Slade from the makeup room on Instagram.
