A train has hit the buffer stop at the end of Sydney’s Richmond Train Station, injuring 13 people
As per The Sydney Morning Herald, there were fears that the train had derailed, but it has since been learned that the train hit the buffers at the end of the platform.
It’s believed the emergency services we alerted around 10am this morning, with three helicopters, 17 ambulance crews, Fire and Rescue NSW and the SES all on the scene to help asses folks who were injured in the impact.
Most of the injuries have been reported as minor, with most only suffering a few bumps and bruises, though there were also reports of two people suffering a possible spinal injury.
