While we would never go so far as to suggest you should buy books using Apple’s iBookstore, we’s still suggest iOS users take advantage of it when the opportunity arises. Like now, with Lonely Planet giving away its Best In Travel ebook on the iBookstore for a limited time.
The freebie is to raise promotion for the three new Lonely Planet books on the store – Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel, The Travel Book and Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Photography. The latter two cost $28 and $25 respectively, which is probably why you wouldn’t want to buy them through the iBookstore, although they’re even more expensive through Amazon. When the promotion ends on June 14 the Best in Travel book will cost you $10.
