Movie streaming service MUBI has been available on the PS3 for just over a year now, and today Sony has announced that Bravia Internet Television customers will be able to enjoy the same arthouse movies delivered directly to their TVs for just $10 a month.
There’s a huge selection of movies on offer on the service, including Fellini’s La Dolce Vita, Charlie Chaplin’s The Kid and Guillermo del Toro Pan’s Labyrinth. Like the PS3 version, it costs $10 a month for unlimited streaming, although you’ll want to watch your monthly data allowance if you do use the service. Sony is also offering a 30-day free trial for anyone unsure about the service.
The service will also pop up on Sony Blu-ray players and internet-enabled home theatre systems. It’s a great addition to Sony’s IPTV offerings, and well worth checking out for any movie lover.
