This year, virtual reality is finally hitting the mainstream. The Oculus Rift and HTC Vive are the first high-end VR machines that people can actually buy and setup in their homes. But they don’t come cheaply. Both headsets will set you back a couple of hundred dollars ($US649 [$862] and $US899 [$1194] respectively), which makes it a big investment for anyone considering the purchase.
For our latest Testmodo, we decided to pit the two headsets against each other. We compared set up times, headset tracking and the one thing everyone’s been wondering — which headset looks sexier?
For more detailed information, you can check out our Oculus Rift review. It’s an in-depth look at what it’s like to use the headset over the course of several weeks. We will also be doing a review of the Vive. But, if you’re more interested in which headset is the better overall purchase, you should check out our video above.
