Many early reviews have already played spot-the-reference with Girl Asleep (Wes Anderson, Napoleon Dynamite, Alice in Wonderland, Where the Wild Things Are, The Mighty Boosh), but Rosemary Myers’ film also looks like it has plenty of its own unique spark, too. Girl Asleep theatres on September 8.
