Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon and the world’s richest person, has cashed in $US1.8 billion ($2.6 billion) worth of Amazon shares, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission submitted last night. Bezos will keep an estimated $US1.4 billion ($2.1 billion) from the sale after taxes, based on calculations by Forbes magazine.
