TiVo Expands 3D VOD Offering

Yabazam content coming to a TiVo near you.

The technology behind 3D TV might be interesting, but what definitely hasn’t been thrilling has been the general lack of 3D content in the home, with only a small number of movies making the 3D transition to date. Australian TiVo parent company Hybrid TV today announced it’s expanding its 3D content offerings by licensing 3D content from Yabazam.com for its VOD CASPA service.

Trailers for 3D content will be free, similar to the existing 3D Disney trailers CASPA’s had for some time, but full length content will cost between $2.95 and $6.95 to rent with a 48-hour viewing window from the time of download.
