Roberts, a 33-year-old man, used a 10-inch circular saw on his 15-year-old son’s arm cast. The authorities have no idea why Roberts wanted to saw it off, but when he did, he sliced through his kid’s right thumb and almost cut off the middle of his son’s index finger.
