Your iPad is expensive and delicate, and one side of it is made out of glass. So breaking it is a very real, and very shitty prospect. Most cases will protect against bruises. This one protects against hammer strikes.

The $US60 G-Form is really, really, really, really tough. Made from PORON urethane (read: strong foam), the case can take some ridiculous abuse, as seen above. Which means it can also take the far more likely abuse you’ll probably run into, like dropping it off your couch, or it slipping from your backpack. But if the scenario of flying hardware or a gravity reversal should arise, you’re covered. Simply, this is the most durable iPad case I’ve ever encountered. And it’s light!
I hit it with a god damn hammer.

The G-Form is really, really, really oogly. Whether you pick toxic puke yellow or Alien testicle black, it is yucky. It’s extremely utilitarian, to put it nicely. Stuffing your iPad inside is also a bit dicey, as it only unzips at the very top, forcing you to jam your tablet down through the G-Form’s gaping zipper jaws. So I’m a little worried about scratches in the long term. [G-Form]
