New York City’s Washington Square Park was the host to a giant Lightsaber Battle. Almost a thousand people showed up to battle it out in epic Star Wars style.
According to organiser Kevin Bracken, people went all out at the night-time event, dressing up as Jedi Masters and Sith Lords. There was even a zombie or two.
And if you needed to brush up on your sabre-fighting skills, some resident experts were demonstrating their stellar lightsaber techniques. Judging by the joyful noise of the participants in the video above, everyone was having a smashing good time. [Gothamist]
