iLuv’s Mo’Beats Portable Speaker Wants To Cradle Your Bluetooth Devices

It’s not surprising that a wireless Bluetooth speaker from a company called iLuv would want to make more than just a wireless connection to your devices. The Mo’Beats wants to cradle them too, letting them know it’s there for support.

It’s another addition to the long list of Bluetooth speakers designed to improve the sound coming from your smartphone or tablet. But instead of just hanging about like some awkward sidekick, it provides a handy lip so your device can be propped up and enjoyed in a hands-free manner.

There are no specifics on just how long its rechargeable lithium-ion battery will last, which seems to be one of the few features differentiating these types of portable speakers. And like the rest, if your device is lacking Bluetooth a 3.5mm headphone jack provides an alternate tethered connection. Available come May for a very competitive $US90 — even if it doesn’t quite live up to the sound quality from the excellent Jambox.
