CES saw Chinese manufacturer Huawei unveil its latest MediaPad Android tablet, complete with Ice Cream Sandwich. If that news got you all hot under the collar, prepare for disappointment – the company has no plans to release the tablet in Australia, unfortunately.
Huawei reps told Gus over at Lifehacker that there were no plans to release the tablet down under. It’s not overly surprising given that the original MediaPad never received an Aussie launch either, despite a lot of hype.
Of course, if you have a thing for hot pink gadgets and feel the NEED to own this, there is always the grey import market…
