The crying, the nappies, the terrible twos, the teenage angst — these are all valid reasons not to have kids. But they’re all rendered moot when you realise young ones are an excuse to buy beautiful items like this Rocky rocking horse made just for children.
Designed by Marc Newson for a company called Magis, the un-inspiringly named Rocky is modelled to look like a cross between a cowboy’s trusty ride and the horses that carried medieval jousters into battle. But with a little imagination, it can become whatever your kid wants it to be. There’s no details on pricing or availability yet, but since it’s made from hollow moulded recycled polyethylene, maybe there’s hope it won’t cost as much as a racing thoroughbred.
