Like an umbrella that quickly folds away at the push of a button, this brilliantly engineered raincoat features a series of strategic pleats causing it to flip inside out and transform into a dry carrying bag with a quick pull on a drawstring.
The Telescopic Raincoat, as it’s oddly called, also won a much-deserved Red Dot Design Concept award. And while that’s never a guarantee that a design will become a reality, it will hopefully increase the chances of it being produced and becoming a much valued addition to our emergency rainy day kit.
