The Wall Street Journal carried streaming coverage of the South Korean Samsung vs. Apple verdict return. The highly anticipated verdict came in only minutes ago, setting the stage for the equally hot US version of the verdict to come.
The WSJ reports that the decision seems to be a more or less even split between Samsung an Apple, noting that the judges seem to be favouring the former over the latter.
A judge in Seoul ruled Friday that Apple infringed on two of Samsung’s technology patents and must stop selling the infringing products in South Korea. In addition, the judge said Samsung infringed on Apple’s “bounceback” design patent, but not its icon design patent.
