Not to be left out of the great Windows Phone 8 race, Huawei has just announced the W1: a moderately specced WP8 offering that looks remarkably similar to a HTC’s Windows Phone, the 8X.
The Huawei W1 is a 4-inch Windows Phone 8 smartphone with an 800×480 IPS screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and a 1950mAh battery. It comes in four colours: black, blue, red and white.
As far as looks are concerned, it bears a remarkable resemblance to the HTC 8X.

The W1 is being released in China and Russia this month with other countries to follow in coming months. No word yet on whether the W1 will hit Australia.
