It looks like LG wants to take on Samsung and the Galaxy Note with the newly leaked LG G3 Stylus. The pseudo-confirmation of this device’s existence comes from a video posted by LG Mobile Global.
The LG G3 Beat (essentially a smaller mid-spec’d version the G3) is the actual topic of conversation throughout the strange three-minute clip, but toward the end of the video we’re graced with this image:
Yep, that’s our guy on the right. LG hasn’t officially announced the G3 Stylus, so we don’t know the exact phablet dimensions. But if this image is any indication, it’s at least sliiiiightly larger than the 5.5-inch flagship, most likely bumping up to at least 5.7-inches to match the Galaxy Note series. Samsung will launch the Note 4 on Sept. 3 at IFA 2014 in Berlin, so LG’s timing couldn’t be any better.
The G3 has been a huge boon for LG. The company has finally married design, power, and usability into a pretty great smartphone. The LG G3 Stylus looks like it could be a hefty new addition to the line. [GSM Arena/CNET]
