A wearable fitness tracker is no good to you if you don’t actually want to wear it. So to ensure its Shine appropriately matches any outfit — whether you’re dressed up or dressed down — Misfit and Swarovski are introducing the Swarovski Shine Collection featuring a crystal face and new accessories. The collection also features an upgraded solar-powered version of the Shine that never needs a new battery.
There are two different versions of the fitness and sleep tracker in the new Swarovski Shine Collection. A version with a clear Swarovski crystal face that functions just like the original Shine, and an upgraded version adorned with a violet Swarovski crystal that’s actually hiding a solar panel beneath that extends the wearable’s life from six months to whenever our sun burns out. Unless you live in a cave, you should never need to swap in a new battery.
The Swarovski Shine Collection also introduces new stylish accessories for the wearable including the Piofori Band, the Slake Bracelet, and the Vio Pendant allowing it to be worn as a necklace. Available this spring on both Misfit’s and Swarovski’s websites, the Swarovski Shines will be sold in sets that include two accessories with each, and will range in price from $US170 to $US250. And there will actually be nine Swarovski accessories available ranging in price from $US70 to $US150 for those already using a Shine but wanting to flash up their wearable. [Misfit]
