I just came back from a trip around southeast Asia and did a (very) brief moped ride around Thailand. It was one of the coolest things I’ve done and it was absolutely beautiful to cruise by and see the greenery set against the backdrop of a perfectly blue sky. But after watching this video, I wish I rode more. Hell, I wish I just stayed.
Joshua Rapperport’s Asia and a Motorbike first person point of view video of his 4800km ride through Southeast Asia captures the beauty of some of those dirt roads and shows how lovely a tour around southeast Asia can be and it has totally convinced me to go back and do it again. It’s so fun because it’s just you, your bike and a feeling of how the world is supposed to be.
