More details about the return of Samurai Jack emerge. The Tales from the Crypt reboot is taking an unorthodox approach to getting story ideas. Wicked is finally being turned into a movie. Plus, tons of new Ghostbusters TV spots, and details on the return of Gotham and Lucifer. To me, my Spoilers!

Storks
Likewise, so has one for this animated movie about a stork trying to deliver a baby in a world where he’s supposed to be delivering gadgets instead.
Arrow
Josh Segarra has joined the cast as series regular. He’ll play Adrian Chase, Star City’s District Attorney who wants to help Oliver clean up the streets in his new capacity as Mayor. In the comics, Chase was DA in New York before the murder of his wife and children sees him turn into the violent, morally-compromised crimefighter known as Vigilante, willing to murder in the name of justice.
It’s likely that Segarra’s character will take the same path, considering the show was recently looking for a new rival for Oliver described as being “just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy.” [Deadline]
Samurai Jack
Even more details about the show’s return have emerged out of Annecy 2016. French website CloneWeb has a full report from the show’s panel at the animation festival, including more concept art, and a few more details about where the show will find itself in the new season.
According to the site, the series — which incorporates elements from a scrapped Samurai Jack movie Tartakovsky couldn’t get off the ground — Aku finds himself bored and mindlessly slaughtering people, as Jack has moved on from his fight against him. It’s also likely to be the last season of the show, as Tartakovsky described the season as bringing “closure” to Jack’s story.
Two storyboard sequences were shown, one of which featured Jack, heavily armoured and on a motorcycle, saving a mother and child from a beetle bot, and another featuring Aku attacking a group of characters led by an older version of The Scotsman from the original series.

Gotham/Lucifer
Fox has announced a date for both of the shows’ return — September 19th. [Comicbook.com]
MacGyver
In the wake of news that the show is looking to reboot its premise after the pilot, new details are emerging about the first episode. James Wan, who directed the pilot, will return for the first episode which now sees the young MacGyver create his own team of agents within the U.S. government in order to use his problem-solving skills and scientific knowledge to save people around the world. [Deadline]
Scream Queens
John Stamos has joined the cast in a major role. He’ll play Dr. Brock Holt, a surgeon with dark secrets working at the hospital much of the second season focuses on. [TV Guide]
Tales from the Crypt
In a completely bizarre move, the series will be trawling online fiction site Wattpad for story ideas. TNT will use Wattpad users’ submissions to “identify horror subjects and subgenres that are bubbling up,” and then maybe offer select contributors the chance for their stories to be used on the show. [Wall Street Journal]
Zoo
Finally, here’s a brief press release for the third episode of season 2, “Collision Point”:
“Collision Point” — After tragedy strikes their only ally within the government, the team is left on their own to stop a surge of animal-related attacks from destroying the city of Geneva, Switzerland. Also, new team member Dariela (Alyssa Diaz) makes a shocking discovery about General Davies (Peter Outerbridge), head of the Noah Objective, and in the Canadian wilderness, Jamie witnesses the animals’ broadening effect on the environment and uncovers a troubling detail about Logan.
