Video: Civil War was packed with a bunch of crazy fight scenes, but we never really got to see best friends Black Widow and Cap square off against each other. It turns out, thought, that we almost did, according to an animatic recently released by a Marvel studios storyboard artist.
Darrin Denlinger has been uploading several of his storyboards for the movie to YouTube recently, including one featuring a scene cut from the film altogether as part of the airport brawl — picking up after Ant-Man’s idea to fling a tiny truck at Team Tony and enlarge it mid-flight. It’s a pretty good moment, and there’s still a sweetness to Steve and Nat’s relationship even as they’re trying to beat the crap out of each other.
