Netflix’s Stranger Things has been receiving a lot of positive criticism for a number of reasons, one being the soundtrack, which features a mix of 1980s pop hits and synth rock. The theme song follows this trend. It isn’t especially catchy, but it’s fun and encapsulates the rest of the series very well.
But did you know that you could actually sing along to the Stranger Things opening? “But Carli,” you ask. “There aren’t any lyrics!”
Well no, but as anybody who sings along to the Game of Thrones opening can tell you, that’s no reason to stop. Just check out actors Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin, who play Dustin and Lucas on the show respectively, give it a shot.

Of course, it’s only an effort (as seen with Matarazzo, who says “we tried” at the end), but it’s a good one.
And because of course you do, the creators also put out a karaoke version so you can sing all those “de de de de’s” in real time.
