A dire warning was cast by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary twitter account this morning.
Unless we act now, the 2016 word of the year will be “fascism”.
‘Fascism’ is still our #1 lookup.
# of lookups = how we choose our Word of the Year.
There’s still time to look something else up.

We can’t let this happen. It was a pretty terrible year by all accounts, but we can’t let fascism define 2016. Get on the website now. May I recommend looking up “pupper” or “doggo” perhaps?
Anything but this.
